I've been seeing some troubling trends in our real estate market here in Arizona. I've seen more agents getting closer and closer to ignoring their fiduciary duties. Advising your client to give up their home inspection in their offer, does that seem like a slippery slope? What about when an agent doesn't send their client a listing because the commission is low. Is it in a sellers best interest to take the larger commission split and offer the buyers agent much less? Our clients may not know how these things can hurt them.
